You might be wondering where I buy my parts for my project. I buy a lot from my local auto parts stores, but if I want to save money and have some time before I need the parts, I usually get them from Rock Auto.
Here’s a list of just some of the stuff I bought from Rock Auto:
Toyota Supra Turbo (1993-1998) fuel pump because the V8 car will need a stronger pump than the stock MR2 pump.
Fuel pump strainer (Supra)
Cadillac Northstar engine parts: Spark plugs, water pump pulley and belt, engine belt, rear main seal (a Northstar weak point), idler pulleys
I also bought Toyota MR2 Turbo wheel bearings, front and rear.
MR2 Turbo distributor cap and rotor
MR2 Wheel studs
and lots of other stuff that I can’t even remember.
